The Space
Sapphic Space is a place for the women who love women. Founded by artist and entrepreneur Beverly Tan, we wanted to produce things that we love for the community that we love. We want to be funny, punny, and a little subversive.
This is an inclusive space for every part of the LGBTQA+ spectrum with a focus on those who identify as sapphic in some form.
Making Queer Art Accessible
Our community has such a huge beautiful variety of shapes and sizes. As a small business, it's not financially feasible for us to carry every option, but Beverly alwyas says she would never want "i'm not sure if this will look good on me" to be a barrier to people wearing her art.
To make things more inclusive, Sapphic Space does pop ups and events that include "Bring Your Own Garment" For $15, folx can bring their own clothes and get Sapphic Art added to them.
Find our pop up announcement on IG @SapphicSpace
You can also DM that page with garment and size requests as we have a decent stock of miscellaneous garments that we play with.

From the artist: Beverly Tan (she/her)
feral, fierce, chaos fairy with a dash of 90s dream whimsy
Growing up as a queer BIPOC woman, I rarely got to see people who looked and lived like me in media, so that's when I went into television to try to change that. Along my journey I craved finding community more than anything, and showcasing it. With centuries of learning flags and codes and finally living in a place I could be my true self, I wanted to create things to showcase my authentic life. That’s why I made this space and these products.
Activism has always been part of my life and so has entrepreneurship. I'm so excited that I can bring both of those things to the table with things that make people feel less alone.
